AFL in Brisbane - Brisbane Lions
It’s official. Aussie rules is Australia’s most popular sport. Almost 2.5 million Australians watch a game of Australian rules football each year and it continues to grow in popularity. No more so than in Brisbane where the success of the Brisbane Lions in the AFL has attracted thousands of new supporters. There are now over 30,000 members of the Brisbane Lions Football Club and the Gabba is always packed with vocal supporters for Lions’ home games. Riverside Markets
The Riverside Markets were started over 19 years ago with approximately thirty Artists. Brisbane city was not open for Sunday trading until after Expo. The only city venues open were the theatres. With the coming of Expo the Riverside Markets had developed into a sizeable Crafts Market winning two Tourism Awards and becoming the main attraction in the city on Sundays.

Valley Markets Brunswick St & Chinatown
A brisbane icon. A shopping must for locals and tourists. Every weekend the Valley Markets are home to emerging fashion designers. A place to find jewellery, fabulous handmade accessories and artwork.

You can unwind with a massage or visit one of the Market's renown clairvoyants and card readers. Chinatown is where you will find a unique range of clothing, accessories and giftware, you can enjoy a massage on this side of the market also. Conrad Treasury Casino
Occupying a city block, this boutique casino is housed in a heritage-listed, historic building which harks back to Brisbane's earliest foundations.
The casino offers more than 80 gaming tables and over 1300 gaming machines over three levels. The Queen Street level gaming floor is set in the centre of a soaring four story atrium.
The casino's bars feature free entertainment nightly, including live music and stand up comedy.
Dress standards apply and entry is restricted to people aged 18 years and over. The casino is open 24 hours a day.

RNA Showgrounds
Located adjacent to the Brisbane Central Business District, the RNA Showgrounds has 22 venues situated on 22 hectares of land. The Royal Queensland Show, or 'Ekka' as it is referred to by Queenslander's, is at the Showgrounds over 10 days in August each year, however the Showgrounds are available to host a range of other special events, conferences, functions, wedding receptions, conventions, exhibitions, trade shows and product launches, outside Show time.
